[Official] AppWorld Updated to v3.0.1.29 (Recommended to Upgrade!)

App World v3.0.1.29

RIM finally updated their Blackberry Application World to v3.0.1.29 after the previous issue that this application takes too much device’s memory.

In this version, RIM doesn’t say anything bugs fix, but from the previous beta version, we knew that RIM already fixed these bugs :

Finally, RIM updates its App World again. In this version, fixed so many bugs. Try it ! 😀

App World 3.0.1.20 is now available in BlackBerry Beta Zone and includes many important bug fixes that were reported in external beta. Thank you to everyone who has been active in providing feedback and reporting issues.

A list of the important fixed issues are as follows:

• Performance and speed enhancements across all BlackBerry devices
• Multiple translation/localization errors
• Multiple instances of UI lag
• Apps not appearing in “My World” for some users
• User continuously notified to update the same applications when on the latest version
• Memory leak occurring and taking up too much device memory
• Null pointer exception during downloads
• Escaping out of viewing app description returns user to top of installed/uninstalled list – App World should not go back to the top of list but return to the previously viewed app in the list
• Error when opening and closing some apps with the error message: “Uncaught Exception;Attempt to delete a field that doesn’t belong to the manager”
• Unable to upgrade “Try and Buy” app after installing App World 3.0
• “OutOfMemoryError” when attempting to launch App World
• No “reinstall” button available for Facebook / BB Bridge / etc in App World after deletion
• The “Reboot” option is available in the menu of AppWorld 2.1.x.x and it does not show in AppWorld 3.0.0.x

Tips and Trick : Clean Your AppWorld 3.0 Cache

Feels like your phone is down after browsed the applications , themes or the others in the Blackberry Application World 3.0 ?

In fact, Blackberry App World 3.0 is store your cache ( the image, screenshots ) that you opened when you browsed the application in AppWorld and stored them in your Device’s memory. So that you feel that your memory is always drain and drain after browsed the application.

So, how can I clean that cache ?

Press Alt + RST RST  (RST is twice pressed)

Then check your memory. Compare your memory before and after, and you will surprize how much its cache that stored by itself.

Check your memory with : Alt + aA + H

Always clean your cache ALT + RST RST after browsed the application in AppWorld 3.0. 😀
